Who is Bulloch Tailors?

We are Custom Tailors to Gentlemen.

Not that we won't clothe the scoundrel - it's just that gentlemen tend to dress somewhat conservatively, especially businessmen. And that is our forté.

All our garments are hand tailored using the traditional bespoke method:

  • First you select your fabric (which than becomes "bespoken" for) from over half a thousand instock woollens;
  • Together we determine the style that best suits your needs: single or double breasted, no vent or double vents, traditional or contemporary cut; pleated or plain fronted trousers, etc;
  • Then we measure you, precisely. And this is where the value starts to add. There is more to your measurements than inches or degrees.

Original Store 1938-1986
734 Bay St., Toronto

  • The tailors cut your cloth and baste it (loosely stitch) together for a first fitting, or try-on. Here the "fitter" transforms the theoretical garment to the actual.
  • Finally your suit is hand tailored, delicately pressed and ready for your final fitting.
  • When we're both satisfied you take delivery of a work of art.

All in about 4 weeks.

Why Bulloch Tailors?

Value ...

After 60 years of suiting Canada's finest, we are beginning to master our craft.  Understanding which woollen mills weave the best fabrics that will stand the test of time while looking truly rich. Which canvas offers the best blend of lightness and crispness for the inside of our garments. This quest is, of course, endless. And hopefully, you'll agree that our persistent efforts translate into value for you.   Our goal is simply to offer the benefits of made to measure at a ready to wear price.

Elegance ...

Since, at Bulloch's, your made to measure garment will cost no more than a comparable ready to wear garment, why look like everybody else?   A Bulloch Suit is hand tailored just for you. To fit you perfectly. In a style that suits you. From a collection of a half a thousand in-stock fabrics! We use only the most elegant of English and Italian woollens that drape softly but always look crisp. You own hand tailored garment is a sign of elegance.  For gentlemen.
